Charles “Lloyd” Speakman, age 82, of Laurelville, passed away on July 14, 2016, at his residence.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Mona; parents, Harley and Florence Speakman; and sister, Wilma Fraunfelter.

He is survived by his children, Debbie (Fred) Marshall, Tim (Jeanett) Speakman, Kathy Pospichel and Kenny (Kim) Speakman; his grandchildren, Nicole Speakman, Levi Marshall, Burton Speakman, Kara Ebert, Taylor Pospichel, Kendal Ellerman and Mason Pospichel; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was an iron worker and was a member of Iron Workers Local #172. He was also a part time farmer, loved to restore old tractors, was a 4-H advisor for many years with the Saltcreek 4-H club and belonged to several tractor restoration organizations.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2016, at the Whisler Presbyterian Church, 11486 Hayesville Rd., Kingston, with Pastor Don Frank officiating.

A special thank you to Bev and Mary Lou, and Heartland Hospice for their wonderful care.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church in Lloyd’s memory.
