July 18:

– Officers responded to a call for a lift assist in the 400 block of Ruth Avenue.

– A caller advised he believed occupants of a vehicle shot a paint ball gun out the window. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 100 block of South Court Street.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 200 block of North Court Street.

– A resident in the 400 block of South Pickaway Street reported someone shot the windows ou of her vehicle.

– A caller reported he was walking his dog in St. Joseph’s Cemetery and was verbally confronted by another male with a growling pit bull. Officers spoke with both parties, and the issue was resolved.

– A resident in the 1200 block of Norfolk Avenue reported a lost or stolen wallet.

– Officers made a warrant arrest at the bailiff’s office at Circleville Municipal Court.

– A resident in the 100 block of East Union Street reported someone keyed his truck overnight.

– A caller in the 400 block of North Court Street reported he believed he received bad checks from work he had done on his residence.

– A resident in the 100 block of East Mill Street reported a known subject was throwing items over her fence, which she believed was intended to harm her dog. A report was taken.

– Officers followed up on information about a firearm previously reported stolen.

– A caller reported a truck had been tailgating and speeding in the 100 block of South Court Street. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– Keith Grice was arrested for assault after a caller in the 1200 block of South Pickaway Street reported a male subject came to his house, started a confrontation and struck him with a beer bottle.

– Officers responded to a possible domestic dispute in front of Fifth Third Bank on East Main Street. Officers advised it was not a domestic dispute, just people playing the Pokemon game.

– Officers responded to reports of a suspicious person near the AEP substation on West Mound Street. The subject advised it was a misunderstanding.

– A resident in the 1200 block of Williams Drive reported an issue with a vehicle she sold to a friend. The caller was referred to the title office.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 200 block of West Main Street. The call was canceled by the alarm company.

– A caller from Rent To Own on Lancaster Pike reported an incident of harassment.

– The subject of a traffic stop at Nicholas Drive and Lancaster Pike was advised not to return to attempt to contact Rent To Own.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident at the Dairy Shed on Kingston Pike. Information was exchanged.

– Officers performed a stand-by in the 300 block of Kingston Pike for a Columbia Gas employee.

– A 911 caller advised he was almost run off the roadway in the 100 block of North Court Street by a vehicle. A second caller was the driver of the vehicle, who reported the motorcycle was driving recklessly and almost caused an accident. Both parties were advised of their driving habits.

– A caller reported two male subjects were looking in the door and windows of Circleville Veterinary Clinic on North Court Street. Officers were unable to locate subjects in the area.

– A resident came to the police station to report he knew who assaulted him several days earlier.

– A caller reported a telephone pole on fire in the 100 block of Caroline Court. AEP handled the scene.

– A caller reported a suspicious vehicle driving back and forth between the two entrances at Mary Virginia Crites-Hannan Park. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 100 block of North Court Street. The scene checked OK.

– Officers made an arrest for disorderly conduct after a caller in the 200 block of Clark Drive reported his girlfriend was drunk, was throwing his property into a dumpster outside and had locked him out of the apartment.

– A caller reported a possibly intoxicated male was driving along South Court Street making threats to people along the street saying he was going to beat them up and had been in prison before. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

July 19:

– A resident in the 100 block of Park Street reported two males standing by his garage. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Watt Street Tavern. The scene checked OK.

– A caller reported a truck had dropped debris on the roadway in the 500 block of North Pickaway Street. The debris was moved to the side of the roadway, and the service department was advised.

– A resident came to the police station to request a stand-by to retrieve a vehicle from a family member. The resident was advised it was a civil issue.

– A caller reported her vehicle was struck while parked at Carnival Foods.

– A resident on West High Street reported his girlfriend’s mother was calling and threatening him. The caller was advised it was a civil issue.

– A resident came to the police station to report a child visitation issue. The other party also arrived at the station for exchange of custody and was advised of the complaint.

– Officers made a warrant arrest in the 100 block of North Pickaway Street.

– A resident on Stella Avenue reported the theft of a gun from his vehicle overnight.

– A resident in the 600 block of Edgewood Drive reported a known subject had called her 18 times the night before on her cell phone and numerous times on her home phone.

– An employee at Berger Hospital reported a juvenile in the emergency room who had been bitten by a dog. The incident occurred in the county, and the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office handled the incident.

– Officers responded to reports of a fire at the Hardesty Wood Pantry on South Washington Street. The Circleville Fire Department handled the scene.

– Extra patrol was requested on Barnes Avenue due to an ongoing neighbor dispute.

– Officers responded to a domestic dispute on North Pickaway Street.

– A resident in the 200 block of South Scioto Street reported a known subject busted the window out of her car. A report was taken on criminal damaging.

– A resident in the 200 block of Timberline Drive reported a 15-year-old male jumped his 8-year-old son. No assault occurred, but the juveniles were advised to stay away from each other.

– A resident in the 200 block of Logan Street reported someone threw something at her house and shattered a window.

– A caller from Zanzi’s Pizza reported three kids in the parking lot riding bicycles, and he was concerned they were going to get struck by a vehicle. The juveniles were advised.

– Officers performed a well-being check on a juvenile on South Pickaway Street. The subject checked OK.

– A caller reported a hit-skip property damage accident in the 200 block of Island Road.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 800 block of North Court Street. The scene checked OK.

– A caller reported wedding invitations were stolen from her vehicle in the 300 block of East Main Street.

– A caller in the 200 block of Villa Drive reported a child visitation issue.

– Officers responded for a carbon monoxide check in the 1300 block of South Pickaway Street. The Pickaway Township Fire Department and Circleville Fire Department handled the scene.

July 20:

– A resident in the 100 block of West Ohio Street requested an officer stand-by while he retrieved his clothing from a residence.

– A resident in the 1200 block of Williams Drive advised two men were banging on the door of his neighbor’s house for about 30 minutes. The scene checked OK.

– A caller in the 400 block of South Pickaway Street reported hearing a popping noise outside her house. Officers were unable to locate anything in the area.

– Jarrod R. Conner was arrested on a warrant in the alley behind Brooks Yates school.

– Officers responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of Fairview Blvd. They were unable to locate the subjects.

– A resident in the 1300 block of South Pickaway Street reported two bricks were thrown through the window of her house. A report was taken on vandalism.

– An officer marked out with two people walking along Kingston Pike. They were dropped off at their destinations.

– A caller in the 400 block of South Pickaway Street reported her car windshield had been broken. Police had been at her home two days before for vandalism of her house.

– A resident in the 100 block of McCrea Avenue reported someone threw a brick through her husband’s windshield and a knife was stolen from the vehicle.

– Officers responded as mutual aid for a smoking clothes dryer in the 1300 block of South Pickaway Street.

– An employee at Kroger reported someone broke into the ice machine coolers overnight at the fuel center.

– A resident in the 500 block of Douglas Drive reported two juveniles lying on the electric box near the center of the complex. Officers were unable to locate the juveniles.

– A caller reported a drunk driver left Berger Hospital in a vehicle. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

– A caller reported her vehicle was damaged while parked at Kroger on Lancaster Pike.

– A resident in the 300 block of Walnut Street reported a juvenile was making threats to put a hole in her swimming pool. The officer spoke with the juvenile and the parents.

– A caller reported a hit-skip accident in the area of Everts Middle School on South Court Street.

– A resident in the 800 block of Clinton Street reported a known subject stole from him.

– A caller in the 700 block of North Court Street reported a bicycle was left on his property.

– A resident in the 200 block of Watt Street reported someone had vandalized his vehicle.

– A caller in the 100 block of West High Street reported two males and two females were in the alley yelling at each other. A subject was advised not to be back on the property.

– A caller reported two elderly male subjects in some sort of physical altercation in the 300 block of East Mound Street. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– An employee at Speedway on North Court Street reported a male subject keeps showing up and sitting outside at closing time.

– A resident in the 100 block of Rustic Drive reported a suspicious vehicle in the area. The scene checked OK.

– Officers performed a well-being check on a juvenile on Huston Street. The subject checked OK.

– A caller in the 300 block of East Ohio Street requested an officer for a report on criminal damaging.

– A caller from Arby’s reported a male subject was in the restaurant causing a scene and yelling at employees. All units were advised to be on the lookout after the male left the business.

– A caller reported a suspicious vehicle at Ted Lewis Park. The vehicle left the area.

– Officers responded to reports of a domestic dispute at Washington and Walnut streets.

– A caller in the 300 block of Watt Street reported people were being loud outside after she asked them to stop. Officers were unable to locate anyone causing a disturbance.

– A caller reported three males were in a fight at Pickaway and Mill streets. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– A caller in the 1300 block of South Street reported a group of males trying to fight his brother. Officers advised it was a misunderstanding, and the subjects were advised to stay away from each other.

– A caller on Cottage Lane reported two male juveniles were looking into vehicles with a flashlight. Officers were unable to locate the subjects. Extra patrol was requested.

– A resident in the 400 block of South Pickaway Street requested extra patrol due to someone throwing bricks through house and car windows in the area.

– A caller reported a suspicious vehicle at the Welcome Center on West Main Street. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.
