William H. Heeter, 85, died July 29, 2016.

He was born June 28, 1931, in Circleville, to Harold C. Heeter and Martha Edith Mumaw.

He retired from General Motors #969 after 38 years and 15 years at North America Aviation.

He loved to fish and hunt, which he passed down to his family.

He was preceded in death by both parents; wife, Ethel J. Heeter; and grandson, William H. Heeter.

He is survived by children, William C. (Karen) Heeter of Mt. Vernon, Gloria A. Hall of Mt. Gilead and Connie J. (Mickey) Cline of Marengo. He is also survived by Deanna Harless, significant other of 28 years; four grandchildren, Niki (Josh) Casner, Jeff Hall, Michelle Rodgers and Madison Cline; 11 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

He was a member of Southeast Conservation Club for 40 years and a member of Masonic Lodge South Gate Potter # 782 for over 50 years.

Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, 2016, with a Masonic Service at 7:30 p.m. at Graumlich Funeral Home, 1351 S. High St., Columbus, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday Aug. 2, 2016, with Mickey Cline officiating. Interment will be in Fox Cemetery, Circleville.
