Richard A. “Rich” Seymour went home to heaven on Aug. 6, 2016, the day before his 42nd birthday, having fought a courageous battle with Huntington’s disease.
Rich was the son of Rick (deceased) and Nelda Seymour; brother of Beth Anne (Gary) Whitaker; uncle of Gwendolyn and Gregory Whitaker; and step-son of Robert O’Hanlon.
He was a 1993 graduate of Westfall High School, where he lettered in track. He also graduated from Pickaway Ross JVC, where he trained for a career in automotive mechanics.
He worked as a front end alignment specialist and later as an automotive parts store manager.
He lived his last years in Florida with his mother and step-father. Rich is loved by many members of his family and friends in Pickaway County.
Family will receive friends and loved ones from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016, at Newcomer Funeral Home, followed by interment at Darbyville (Muhlenburg) Cemetery on Main Street/London Road, Darbyville.
