Lucille Adkins, 94, passed away on Aug. 18, 2016.
She was born on Oct. 29, 1921, in Ross County, to Alfia and Grace (Justice) Parker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Roger Dearth; brothers, Richard and Robert Parker; sister, Louise Sowers; and by son-in-law, George Dabbs.
Lucille is survived by her husband, Rev. Edward E. Adkins; daughter, Rhonda Dabbs; daughter-in-law, Sherry Dearth; stepchildren, Sandra (Tommy) Tomblin and Timothy (Susan) Adkins; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016, in the Wellman Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Morton officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
