Paul E. Hill, 84, of Circleville, passed away Aug. 20, 2016, at home.
He was born June 13, 1932, in Circleville, the son of Charles and Myrtle (Smith) Hill.
Paul was a Korean War Army veteran and was a dedicated member of Second Baptist Church, where he served as trustee, assistant treasurer and custodian.
Paul retired from E.I. Dupont, and he worked most of his life in cement work along with his many family members.
He was also an avid bowler throughout his life and participated in the third Wednesday of month breakfast.
He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and six sisters.
Paul is survived by his wife, Charlotte (Jones) Hill; children, Toni Peele of Circleville and Terry Hill of Baltimore, Maryland; grandchildren, Tyronne and Derek Lewis and Aundrea Hill; great-grandchildren, Shania, Tyson, Jesslyn, McKenna, Destiny and Krystal Lewis; sister, Elizabeth Jones; six sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, 2016, at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery with military honors. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
