Cheryl Ilona (Blaney) O’Quinn, 61, formerly of Circleville, passed away on July 21, 2016, at her home in Roswell, Georgia, to be with the love of her life.

Cheryl was born Feb. 28, 1955, to Richard Lee Blaney Sr. and the late Evelyn (Turner) Blaney in Circleville.

She retired as an electronics engineer working for Phillips Healthcare and was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

Cheryl enjoyed family, friends, her pets, Oliver and Gabby, and working with pottery.

Cheryl is survived by her father, Richard Lee Blaney Sr. of Circleville; brother, William Blaney (Melinda Causey Blaney) of Chillicothe; sister, Elizabeth Duckworth (Dana Duckworth) of Witchita, Kansas; brother, Richard Blaney (Jeanne Blaney) of Ft. Myers, Florida; sister, Judith Gantzler (Brian Gantzler) of Dublin; sister, Angelina Triplett (Brett Triplett) of Ray; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James O’Quinn of Roswell, Georgia; mother, Evelyn (Turner) Blaney; step-mother, Nedra (Robinson) Blaney; and sister, Eva Lynn Blaney.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at Defenbaugh-Wise-Shoedinger Funeral Home, 151 E. Main St., Circleville. Interment will be at Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery, Circleville, alongside her husband, James.
