Doris Jean Reeser, 90, of Circleville, passed away on Aug. 29, 2016.
She was born on May 16, 1926, in Circleville, to Earnest and Hazel (Arledge) Weaver.
Doris, affectionately known by nickname “Beaner” for bean picking skills during her teen years, was a 1944 graduate of Circleville High School and had worked at Rickenbacker Air Force Base during World War II and for over 40 years at Weaver’s Furniture Store.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. Reeser; sisters, Ruth Lutz, Betty Clifton, Patty Reid, Lynn White and Dolly Thompson; and by brothers, Jim and Robert Weaver.
Doris is survived by her sons, Glenn (Linda) and Tony (Dawn) Reeser; grandchildren, Tara Reeser, Tracy (Matthew) Witter, Royce (Julie) Reeser and Abbey (Greg) Kimmel; great-grandson, Oliver Kimmel; brothers, Larry (Alice) and Dick (Shirlene) Weaver; and by sister, Janet Hayes.
Graveside services will be held at noon on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
