Two Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center seniors were elected by their peers to represent them in their career-technical student organization.

Cassie Moore and Rachel Walters were elected president and parliamentarian, respectively, of Region 14 of the Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter at the Fall Leadership Conference, held this week at Pickerington North High School.

Moore, whose home school is Paint Valley, is in the Interactive Digital Arts program and is historian for Pickaway-Ross’ BPA chapter.

Walters, who home school is Logan Elm, is in the Network System Technologies program and is president of the school’s chapter.

Nearly 120 Pickaway-Ross students are members of the school’s BPA chapter, which seeks to prepare students for their future careers as business professionals.

The Ohio association is the second-largest state association within Business Professionals of America, with approximately 8,500 secondary and post-secondary members.
