Jan. 6, 2017:
– A caller reported a traffic accident in the southbound lanes of U.S. Route 23 at Pickaway Crossing, and the person in a small, dark car took off on foot toward the tree line. The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office also received a call and had a deputy en route. A report was taken on an agency assist.
– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 100 block of Pinckney Street. The scene checked OK.
– A resident reported a vehicle in the middle of the roadway on North Court Street at Kimberly Place. Officers advised the vehicle was off the roadway and help was en route. The scene checked OK.
– Officers responded to a parking complaint in the 300 block of Weldon Avenue.
– A resident in the 700 block of Clinton Street reported the theft of paint and supplies, possibly by a known suspect. A report was taken on theft.
– A resident in the 100 block of Watt Street reported her child was being unruly and refusing to get up and go to school.
– A caller reported he purchased a property in the 900 block of Lincoln Drive through a Sheriff’s auction, and the former resident keeps entering the property even though he has been advised not to.
– A caller from Delong Insurance on North Scioto Street reported vandalism to the building. A report was taken on property damage.
– An employee from Speedway on North Court Street reported theft by a known suspect. A report was taken.
– A resident came to the police station to speak with an officer about her daughter. Information was obtained.
– A caller on Eva Drive reported a noise complaint on a neighbor. No report was taken, as there was no noise at the time the officer arrived.
– A caller in the 200 block of Sylvan Court reported a burglary alarm activation at the residence. The scene checked OK.
– Officers responded to a call from Berger Hospital that turned out to be an accidental dial. The scene checked OK.
– A resident on West Mill Street reported a custody issue. The officer answered the caller’s questions and advised it was a civil matter.
– Officers responded to an activated hold-up alarm at the Berger Health Education Center on North Court Street. Officers advised it was an accidental activation, and the scene checked OK.
– A caller in the 1000 block of Sunshine Street reported a carbon monoxide detector was going off in the residence. The fire department advised low batteries in the detector were to blame and changed the batteries.
– A resident on Fairview Blvd. reported a subject was harassing them about a mattress and then came back stating he wanted $15. Officers determined it was a civil matter.
– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 300 block of Northridge Road. The scene checked OK.
– Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash on Nicholas Drive at Northridge Road. A report was taken on an injury accident and OVI.
Jan. 7, 2017:
– A caller on South Washington Street reported a problem with an electrical breaker and could not get it fixed without assistance from a subject they were ordered to stay away from by officers days before. Officers were unable to make contact with the other party, and the caller was advised to find another place to stay for the night until the heat could be turned back on.
– A resident at Twin Oaks Apartments on South Court Street reported someone was banging on her door and walking around trying to see inside. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
– Officers responded to reports of a runaway on South Pickaway Street.
– A caller reported a vehicle driving recklessly near the cloverleaf heading into town on West Main Street. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
– A caller reported a domestic dispute in the parking lot at Taco Bell on U.S. Route 23. Officers determined there was no domestic dispute. The subjects had been arguing about who was going to carry the bag they had with them.
– A caller on Huston Street reported a pit bull running loose in the area that had been abandoned at a residence. The dog warden was contacted and handled the scene.
– Officers responded as assistance for the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office for a reported theft at Dollar Tree on Circleville Plaza Drive. The subjects could not be located.
– Officers performed a stand-by as a female subject gathered her belongings from a residence on Pontious Lane after the female reported a custody dispute.
– Officers responded to Town Street with subjects believed to have been involved in a theft at Dollar Tree earlier. The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene.
– Officers responded to a 911 hang-up call from Berger Hospital. They determined the caller misdialed the emergency number. The scene checked OK.
– A resident on East Mound Street requested a well-being check on a neighbor because she hadn’t seen the resident or the pet dog for several days. Officers on the scene requested a squad, and one person was transported to Berger Hospital.
– A caller on Lewis Road requested a well-being check on juveniles across the street for having no food. Officers advised the juveniles had just eaten pizza, and the leftovers were in the fridge. The scene checked OK.
– A resident on Logan Street requested a well-being check on her father in the household. The scene checked OK.
– A resident in the 100 block of East Union Street reported a stove was sparking and smoking. The scene checked OK.
Jan. 8, 2017:
– A caller in the 500 block of North Court Street advised a known subject was drunk and causing arguments. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.
– A caller on Pontious Lane reported a group of people who constantly harass her was currently outside being loud. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.
– A caller on Abernathy Avenue reported she was talking to her mother on the phone and a known subject took the phone away from her and was being verbally abusive. Officers advised the caller was the problem at the location, and she was advised to stay away from the residence and the neighbors.
– Clinton Beach was arrested for two counts of domestic violence after a caller in the 400 block of East Main Street reported a heated argument.
– A caller reported a suspicious male in the 100 block of East High Street. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
– Officers responded to a four-car injury accident in the 100 block of West Main Street.
– A 911 caller advised a male had her wallet and medication and wouldn’t give them back in the 200 block of Lancaster Pike.
– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 1300 block of North Court Street. The scene checked OK.
– A 911 caller reported someone had broken into his apartment and took his TVs. A report was taken.
– An employee from Speedway on North Court Street reported a male subject’s card was declined in the store, and he proceeded to hit his head on the dash of a vehicle in the lot. Officers located the vehicle and advised the person checked OK and would be staying on the lot until the shelter doors open.
– A caller in the 400 block of Abernathy Avenue reported a known subject keeps texting and calling him after he had reported the incidents earlier in the day. A report was taken.
– A resident in the 100 block of Villa Drive reported hearing something hit his mobile home and requested an officer check for damage. The scene checked OK.
Jan. 9, 2017:
– A caller on Willow Lane reported an alarm activation, and city officers responded as an agency assist for the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office. The scene checked OK.
– An alarm company advised of a hold-up alarm on Villa Drive. Officers determined it was accidental, and the scene checked OK.
– Officers performed a well-being check on East Union Street. The subject could not be located.
– A caller reported an assault in the 200 block of North Court Street. Officers determined there was no assault, and it was a civil issue in Ross County.
– A business owner on East Main Street requested to speak with an officer regarding a trespassing complaint. A report was taken.
– Officers responded to a juvenile complaint in the 800 block of Clinton Street. Officers made contact with the juvenile and cleared the call with no report.
– A resident in the 100 block of Rosewood Avenue reported a bicycle was in front of the location. Officers advised the bike was trash.
– A caller advised a female needed assistance getting into her vehicle at Kroger on Lancaster Pike. The door was partially open but the door was locked.
– A 911 caller advised she was trying to contact a local business from Las Vegas and accidentally was transferred into the 911 system. The call was determined accidental.
– Officers responded to an activated alarm in the 100 block of East Union Street. The scene checked OK.
– A caller reported three vehicles were stopped in the roadway and multiple people were outside in a field at Nicholas Drive and Glenmont Court. A report was taken on unruly juvenile charges.
– An employee at Rent To Own on Lancaster Pike reported someone was trying to sell their items at Game Stop. A report was taken on theft.
– A 911 caller reported smelling smoke in his residence on East Main Street. No fire was found.
– A caller requested a check on subjects on West Mill Street, whom she believed to be arguing. A report was taken on a domestic dispute.
– A caller in the 200 block of Logan Street reported she was being harassed by juveniles. The juveniles were advised of their conduct.
– A caller in the 400 block of Lancaster Pike reported an intoxicated male was yelling at people in a nearby apartment. Officers were unable to locate the subject.
– A caller in the 300 block of Walnut Street advised of an unruly juvenile. The juvenile was advised of his behavior.
– Fletcher’s Towing requested help directing traffic for a disabled vehicle in the 200 block of Lancaster Pike.
– A resident in the 200 block of Clark Drive reported a suspicious vehicle outside her residence. Officers advised the driver had run out of gas, and the scene checked OK.
– A resident came to the police station to speak with an officer about found/recovered property.
– Officers responded to reports of a hit-skip accident in the alley beside Lindsey’s Bakery. An arrest was made for OVI.
