James Robert Olson, 82, of Circleville, passed away on Jan. 7, 2017.
He was born on Dec. 2, 1934, in Hampton, Iowa, to Clifford and Ina (Crafton) Olson.
James was a retired master sergeant in the US Air Force.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Lou Ellen (Fields) Olson; son, Clifford J. Olson; and by siblings, Clifford S. and Ollie Ann Olson.
James is survived by his second wife, Ellen Rodenmyer Olson; children, Teresa Matsushita, Melinda (Robert) Conrad and Wilber “Junior” Andrews; and by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, 2017, in the Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
