Tracy Jo (Smith) Seelig, 55, of Chillicothe, passed away 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at Heartland of Chillicothe following an extended illness.
She was born July 20, 1961, in Cincinnati, to the late John S. and Joan Cotton Smith.
She was married to John T. Seelig, who survives. Also surviving are a son and caregiver, John W. Rawlins; two grandchildren, Johnathon and Austin Rawlins; brothers, Steve and (Jane) Graham of Tarlton, Rocky Smith and John (Starla) Smith, all of Chillicothe; sisters, Becky (John) Rawlins of Chillicothe and Anna (Michael) Knapp; many nieces and nephews; good friends, Kathy Miller and Tammy Lindsey; and her animals she loved dearly, Rachel and Snowflake.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Sam and Meda Smith and Jim and Mandy Cotton; brother, Danny Graham; sister, Teresa Magill; a nephew, Rob Warner; four aunts and two uncles.
Tracy was an avid animal lover.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, at the Ware Funeral Home, Chillicothe, with Rev. Mike Denny officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Ware Funeral Home.
