Patricia L. Keaton, 72, of Circleville, passed away March 19, 2017, at Berger Hospital.
She was born Aug. 15, 1944, in Tonawanda, New York, the daughter of Rudolph and Frances (Robillard) Chelikowsky.
Pat worked many years as a clerical specialist for the Pickaway County Health Dept. She also worked as a patient registrar at Berger Hospital, where she worked from 2003 until 2015, in which time she earned several shining stars which were awarded for outstanding customer service.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church since 1952, where she volunteered in many capacities as Eucharistic minister. Pat was nominated for Catholic Woman of the Year in 2014.
She founded the Children’s Charitable Foundation in 1988 and was actively involved on the board as chairman.
She was heavily involved in her children’s and grandchildren’s many sporting events.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeffery; and daughter-in-law, Angela Keaton.
Pat is survived by her husband, Ronald Keaton; sons, Chris (Janet), Kevin, Brad (Kate) and Greg (Brittany) Keaton; grandchildren, Corey, Joshua, Zachary, Nicholas, Nathanial, Abigail, Anna, Brooklyn and Natalie; and siblings, Wayne, Bruce, Karen, Mike, Terry, Scott and Tim.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday March 24, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Ted Machnik officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
