Clarabelle M. Elliott, 92, of Chillicothe, passed away at 1:13 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at Adena Regional Medical Center.
Clarabelle was born in Pickaway County on Feb. 20, 1925, to Robert T. Spindler and Charlotte H. Caldwell.
On Feb. 13, 1943, she married James W. Elliott, who died Dec. 16, 1997. They were married 54 years.
Clarabelle is survived by daughter, Patricia (Jerry) Watters; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.
Clarabelle is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; daughter, Connie (Stitt); grandson, AJ (Lunde); and her six siblings.
She was actively involved at Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, in the Ware Funeral Home, Chillicothe, with Pastor Mark Clendaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to the time of service at noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
