B. Timothy DeGarmo, 70, died at 5:45 p.m. April 28, 2017, at Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born Sept. 23, 1946, in Chillicothe, to the late Julius and Edith (Hafler) DeGarmo.
On Oct. 13, 1973, he married the former Janet S. Massie, who survives.
Also surviving are his sisters, Teresa Ann DeGarmo Bales and Gloria J. (Gordon Bauer) Ault, all of Chillicothe; cousins, Annelle (Dave) Wilterding, Marilyn (Mike) Henschell, Robert (Kathleen) Hafler, Denise (Bernard) Schumann and Anette Immell; and a niece, Molly Beth Ault.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Bryan DeGarmo.
Tim was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1964. He worked at Thomson Consumer Electronics (formerly RCA).
He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the American Legion, Post 134.
In keeping with his wishes, private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Floral Hills Memory Gardens under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ross Co. Humane Society, 2308A Lick Run Rd., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
