Richard Alan Angles, 59, of Circleville, passed away on May 5, 2016.
He was born on Aug. 26, 1957, in Chillicothe, to Carl and Connie (Rasp) Angles.
He was a Master ASE Certified mechanic at Cliftons for 10 years and at Germain for 24 years. He then got his dream job as electrical technician at Battelle for 3 ½ years.
He was a member of NHRA Drag Racing, CBX Motorcycle Club and got his dream car, a Honda CRZ.
He was assistant head of alumni of Class of 1975 of Circleville High School and assistant leader of Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts for many years.
He was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, loved rock music and had a great sense of humor.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Carl Angles; sister, Sandy Foster; and by father-in-law, Charles Thomas Weaver.
Richard is survived by his mother, Connie Angles; wife, Judy (Weaver) Angles; daughter, Jenna Marie Angles; son, Ryan Alan (Caitlyn Walker) Angles; granddaughter whom he worshipped, Alexis Renee Marie; mother-in-law, Rosemary Weaver; and by brother, Steve Angles.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2017, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Pastor Ty Myers officiating and burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
