Anthony John Paudicz, 73, of Mt. Sterling, died May 3, 2017, at his home.
He was born Oct. 2, 1943, in Columbus, son of the late Anthony John Paudicz and Doris Dell (Pefers) Paudicz.
Tony was a graduate of The Ohio State University. He was a Vocational Agriculture teacher for 35 years in the Groveport School system.
He loved building all kinds of things and working with his tools and skills. As one might expect, an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan, and always enjoyed reading books.
He served in the United States Army and was a member of the Five Points United Methodist Church and the Grove City Masonic Lodge #689 F & AM.
What he enjoyed and loved most was his pride and joy known as grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Janice (Booher) Paudicz; son, Anthony John Paudicz and his wife, Janna (Kellough) Paudicz; grandchildren, Reese J. Paudicz and Anthony John “AJ” Paudicz; and sister, Sue Paudicz of Florida.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2017, in Pleasant Cemetery, Mt. Sterling, Rev. Daren Wise and Rev. Laura Clark officiating. There will be a Masonic service performed. In conclusion, the American flag will be presented to his wife, Janice, followed by Taps in honor of the Vietnam veteran. All are welcome to attend.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been requested.
