Evelyn M. Kintner, 81, of Chillicothe, died 4:52 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born July 27, 1935, in Chillicothe, to the late Cliff and Elizabeth Frey Fizer.
On July 4, 1954, she married Gerald J. Kintner, who preceded her in death Aug. 12, 2015.
Surviving are children, Jeralyn (Larry) Brenneman, Karen (Bob) Osborne, Rebecca (Gregg) Gardner, all of Chillicothe, and Edward (Tammy) Kintner of Williamsport; grandchildren, Mandi (Ryan) Smith, Melissa (Shawn) Ison, Christine (Chase) Morris, Brienna (Robert) Gilliom and Dakota and Sierra Gardner; numerous great-grandchildren; and many friends, including Sherry Collins and Sherry Lytle, both of Chillicothe.
She was predeceased by brothers, Marvin and Donald Fizer; and a sister, Marilyn Fee.
Evelyn was a charter member of Huntington Township Fire Dept.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral service or calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ware Funeral Home, Chillicothe.
