Normagene “Jean” Rittinger, 87, passed from this life surrounded by family on May 9, 2017, at Mount Carmel West Medical Center following a short illness.
Jean was born on Oct. 31, 1929, to Roy and Dorothy (Keller) Wright.
On April 26, 1947, she married Wheeler Rittinger, who preceded her in death along with two brothers and three sisters.
Jean is survived by her two sons, R. Stephen (Sonnie) Rittinger and Michael (Connie) Rittinger; three sisters, Evelyn Hastings, Virginia Marshall and Betty Rossiter; three grandchildren, Laura (Dennis) Corcoran, Sean (Rachel) Rittinger and Elizabeth (Aaron) Barthelmas; nine great-grandchildren, Andrew, Cassidy, Deloris and Carmen Corcoran, Bailey and Kailey Huff and Christian, Grant and Sylvie Rittinger. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2017, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Rev. Dr. Marilin Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
