Randy Ray Hartshorn Sr., 57, of Somerset, passed away May 17, 2017, at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.
Randy was born Sept. 15, 1959, in Logan.
He was a graduate of Logan Elm High School, loved his horses and loved working in his yard.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Doris Hartshorn of Somerset; children, Randy Ray Hartshorn Jr. of Lancaster, Randi Jo (Joshua) Filkins of New Lexington, Justin Lee (April) Hartshorn of Somerset and Natusha (Harry) Hedges of Somerset; grandchildren, Taylor Dawn Filkins, Nolan Eugene Hedges, Iva Jewell Hedges, Joseph Fleming, Gauge William Hartshorn and Anna Bell Hartshorn; father, Jack Hartshorn of Laurelville; siblings, Kathy (David) Miller, Tom (Brenda) Hartshorn, Norma (Terry) Rose, Marilyn (Bill) Westfall, Lenny (Amber) Hartshorn, Joann (Gary) Rose, John Hartshorn, Rodney Hartshorn, Casey, Mary (David) Porter and Chester (Diana) Hartshorn; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Etta Bell Hartshorn; sister, Valentina Brown; mother-in-law, Iva Likens; and father-in-law, George Likens.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, with Pastor Dan Hill officiating. Calling hours will be observed from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations can be made to the American Heart Association, Ohio Valley Affiliate, P.O. Box 163549, Columbus, OH 43216-3549.
