Esther Dawn Thompson, 49, of Williamsport, died May 23, 2017, at Berger Hospital ER.
She was born on Jan. 9, 1968, in Pikeville, Kentucky, the daughter of Ray and Ruth (Akers) Jackson.
She was a 1986 graduate of Teays Valley High School.
She helped design and build floats along with her husband and sons at Thompson Floats for many years. She was a talented artist, an avid Ohio State fan and parade director for Deercreek Dam Days.
She loved and enjoyed her sons and their athletic and band activities and was proud of their accomplishments.
She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Brian Jackson; and sister-in-law, Vickie Imler.
She is survived by her mother, Ruth Jackson Meade; husband of 25 years, Bradley Allen Thompson; sons, Dylan, Cody and Corey; sisters, Mary “Yogi” (George) Hall and Janet (Brad) Tussing; sisters-in-law, Debra (Ron) Fraley and Shirley (Ralph) Smith; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Teresa Hartley.
Memorial services were held at 6 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2017, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating. Friends called from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
