Barbara Ellen Belcher, 62, of Circleville, died Tuesday, May 30, 2017, in her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Barbara was born July 6, 1954, in Clinton, Indiana, a daughter of Freeman and Wilma (Montgomery) Chaney.
She rode horses and barrel raced, and enjoyed taking vacations to Gettysburg and Colorado.
She was very proud of being a medical assistant.
She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and adored her three daughters.
Barbara graduated from London High School in 1972 and received her associate degree through Colorado State in 1991.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Donald Lee Belcher, whom she married Jan. 29, 1972; daughters, Lisa (Joe) Cline, Amy (Jeremy) Barr and Megan (fiance, Tom McManus) Belcher, all of Circleville; grandchildren, Caleb, Casey, Jenna, Leah, Chase, Haley, Madison, Noah, Ryliegh, Amiyah and Kiyah; sisters, Margie Black and Re (Dick) Lawson of Rosedale, Indiana, June Herzog of Clinton, Indiana, Mary Lou (Tom) Myers of Illinois, and Kathy Toms of London; brother, Monty Chaney of Indiana; brother-in-law, Don Griffith of Anderson, Indiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Shirley Griffith.
A funeral mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2017, at Saint Patrick Church, 61 S. Union St., London, with Father Mark Ghiloni officiating. Interment will follow at the Saint Patrick Cemetery, London. Barbara’s family invites friends to call from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Saint Patrick Church fellowship hall, 61 S. Union St, London.
Barbara’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Rader-Lynch & Dodds Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High Street, London.
