The following cases recently were heard by Judge P. Randall Knece in Pickaway County Common Pleas Court:
– Brittany N. Blackburn, 26, of Galloway, pleaded guilty to obstructing official business. She was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail, three years of intervention and six months in a community-based correctional facility program.
– James E. Crum, 28, of Columbus, pleaded not guilty to discharging a firearm on or near prohibited premises, improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, aggravated possession of drugs and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. A pretrial hearing is set for July 14.
– David M. Darnell, 39, of Hedges Street, Ashville, pleaded guilty to assault. He was sentenced to 15 months in state prison.
– Brad J. Davis, 44, of Stout Road, Circleville, pleaded not guilty to rape, domestic violence and assault. A pretrial hearing is set for July 14.
– Kimberly Fannin, 33, of Chillicothe, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. She was ordered to continue community control with 30 days in the county jail.
– Nikiya Fout, 29, of Half Avenue, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. She was ordered to continue community control with Safe Haven.
– Dreema J. Glispie, 29, of Half Avenue, Circleville, pleaded guilty to a violation of terms of intervention. She was ordered to complete the Safe Haven Sober Living Program in Chillicothe.
– O’Dell D. Guinn, 25, of Wilmington, pleaded not guilty to aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs with specification, trafficking in cocaine with specification, possession of cocaine with specification, aggravated possession of drugs with specification and illegal conveyance of weapons or prohibited items onto the grounds of a governmental facility. A pretrial hearing is set for July 14.
– Sarah Shannon, 27, of Five Points Road, Mt. Sterling, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. She was ordered to complete the STAR relapse program.
– Scott A. Slagle, 45, of Minford, pleaded guilty of attempted improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle. He will be sentenced following a pre-sentence investigation by the court.
– James N. Thacker, 45, of Columbus, entered an Alford Plea on the charge of receiving stolen property. He was sentenced to 12 months in state prison (suspended), 30 days in the county jail and ordered to stay out of Pickaway County.
– Christopher Webb, 24, of Columbus, pleaded guilty to a violation of community control. He was ordered to complete the STAR relapse program, then complete the Safe Haven Sober Living Program.
