Fredrick Ellis Riggs III, 63, of Bowling Green, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, in Bowling Green.
He was born on Nov. 24, 1951, in Denver, Colorado, to Fredrick Jr. and Grace (Truitt) Riggs.
He was retired from the United States Air Force and most recently from American Mechanical.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mom, Dorothy (Adams) Riggs; sister, Ivy Schwalbaugh; step-sister, Cathy Lee; and step-brother, Jim Liebe.
Fredrick is survived by his wife, Linda (Adams) Riggs; children, Fredrick (Elizabeth) Riggs IV, Michelle (John Ellis) Riggs and Misty Riggs; grandchildren, Joseph Jr., Jared, Elizabeth, Aidan, Fredrick V and Joshua; step-grandson, Dakota; sister, Barbara Riggs; step-brothers, Richard and John Liebe; and step-sister, Lucinda Tylor; along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015, at the Wellman Funeral Home with Reverend Kenneth Fuller officiating. Cremation to follow the service. Military service will be provided by Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
