CIRCLEVILLE – The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office urges local residents to be on the lookout for two subjects considered extremely dangerous who are wanted in Ross County for separate crimes.

The first is a female accused of stabbing a juvenile at 5584 Egypt Pike in Ross County on Thursday morning, according to a statement from the Ross County Sheriff’s Office. The subject is described as blonde wearing a blue bandana with crosses on it, a blue flannel shirt and denim jeans. She is accused of going to the residence and confronting a juvenile female inside, stabbing her in the chest and then fleeing on foot. She was last seen on Egypt Pike, but no direction of travel was indicated.

Authorities also are looking for David Rutter, 60, who was reportedly in the middle of a jury trial for felonious assault in Ross County Common Pleas Court when he failed to appear on Thursday. Rutter is described as 5′ 8″ tall, 170 to 180 pounds, with blue eyes and brown or gray hair. He could be driving a 2001 black Ford pickup truck, license #ERW 5023.

The Ross County Sheriff’s Office advises Rutter should be considered armed and very dangerous. If spotted, he should not be approached or confronted.

If either of these suspects is seen locally, contact the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office at 740-474-2176 or the Ross County Sheriff’s Office at 740-773-1185.

UPDATED 5:52 p.m.: David Rutter turned himself in Thursday afternoon, according to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.
