Teays Valley West Middle School recently received a $5,500 grant from the Teays Valley Educational Foundation for the purchase of Chromebooks, which are laptops used by students for assignments and assessments.
“We can’t thank TVEF enough for their grant to help fund our Chromebook lab at West Middle School,” said Laura Nungester, teacher at Teays Valley West. “Our students are facing a new generation of assessments and need to be literate in technology for various needs as they prepare to enter the 21st century workplace. The addition of a Chromebook lab allows teachers and students to continue learning and working toward success within the new demands of technology on education.”
