Wilbert A. Huffer Jr., age 84, of Orient, passed away on Monday, Aug. 10, 2015.
He was the son of the late Wilbert and Lydia (Self) Huffer.
Wilbert served in the U.S. Army and retired from Big Bear stores.
He is preceded in death by infant daughter, Marjorie Jean; and sisters, Betty, Gerri and Alice.
Wilbert is survived by his wife, Martha (Jane); daughters, Nancy (Kevin) Glass and June (Peter) Hunley; son, James (Lynn) Huffer; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosalie Miller and Lynne (Don) Callendar; brother, Kenneth (Lucille) Huffer; niece and nephews; and sister-in-law, Carol (Larry) Culbertson.
Family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, at Porter-Tidd Funeral Home, 331 W. Main St., Mt. Sterling. A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pleasant Cemetery.
