The sidewalks of downtown Circleville will be filled with craft vendors and sidewalk chalk art this Saturday, Sept. 12, for the Autumn Arts and Crafts Fair hosted by Circleville’s Downtown Business Association.
The event begins at 9 a.m. and runs through 3 p.m., and it will feature gift items, fall and holiday decorations, homemade edible goods and more. Downtown businesses also will be open to promote shopping local in downtown Circleville.
The theme for the sidewalk chalk art contest is “What makes Circleville America’s Best Community.” The contest is sponsored by the DBA, the City of Circleville and America’s Best Communities. Artwork will be judged by age group, as well as business and family entries. Winners will receive ribbons as well as bragging rights. Sidewalk chalk art participants are encouraged to share their artwork via social media and using the hashtags #CirclevilleProud and #ABC50.
