WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald Trump has officially been sworn in as the 45th and 47th president of the United States, marking his return to the White House for a second term. In a powerful inaugural address, Trump vowed to lead America toward a new era of prosperity, promising to “make America great again.”

Trump, who branded himself as both a “peacemaker and a unifier,” focused much of his speech on restoring the nation’s strength and ensuring a bright future for all Americans.

“Above all, my message to Americans today is to act with courage, vigor, and the vitality of the greatest civilization,” Trump declared. “I stand before you now as proof that you should never believe that something is impossible to do. In America, impossible is what we do best.”

The president also addressed the near-fatal assassination attempt against him in July during his inaugural speech. Reflecting on the incident in Butler, Pennsylvania, Trump described the chilling moment when an assassin’s bullet grazed his ear.

“Those who wish to stop our cause have tried to take my freedom and indeed, to take my life,” Trump said. “Just a few months ago, in a beautiful Pennsylvania field, an assassin’s bullet ripped through my ear.”

Despite the attack, Trump maintained a message of resilience, attributing his survival to a divine purpose. “My life was saved for a reason. I was saved by God to make America great again,” he asserted.

As the new president stood before a crowd at the Capitol Rotunda, Trump declared, “The golden age of America begins right now,” promising that under his leadership, the nation would once again become “the envy of every nation.”

Trump also emphasized that America’s decline had come to an end, with a renewed focus on national strength. “America’s decline is over,” he said confidently.

Reflecting on his tumultuous political journey, Trump claimed that his presidency had faced more challenges and tests than any other in U.S. history. “I have been challenged and tested more than any president in our 250-year history,” he proclaimed, as he outlined his vision for the future of the nation.

With his second term officially underway, President Trump set a bold tone for the years ahead, promising to continue his efforts to build a stronger and more prosperous America.
