CIRCLEVILLE – The Pride of Dayton Marching Band is a show band from the University of Dayton, recognized for our energetic parade dances and powerful halftime performances.
Pride of Dayton Marching Band or POD members consist of over 150 students from multiple different states and backgrounds. Last year the band performed in Dublin Ireland in the 2022 Saint Patrick’s Day parade.
Since 1905 they have entertained fans at football games, band festivals, and parades across Ohio. POD is a popular band because of its dancing marches throughout parade routes and halftime shows.
According to Pumpkin Show representatives, “The university will be performing in the Thursday, October 19th at 8 pm parade.”
The Parade of Bands is one of the most popular parades during the Pumpkin Show. In total, the Show has seven parades over four days all with different themes.
