Raven Elizabeth Schmitt, age 31, of Circleville, walked through the gates of
Heaven and straight into the arms of all her loving grandparents on Monday,
April 1, 2024.
She was born July 24, 1992, in Lansing, Michigan, to Kenda Collins. Raven was
a sweet, smiley, generous, and affectionate little girl who adored her mom
and being with her family. Becoming a big sister to Rhys and Julia was one of
the highlights of her life. She was a proud graduate of Logan Elm High
School, Class of 2010.
Raven survived a childhood brain tumor and the many treatments it required. A
kidney transplant in 2017 brought new challenges. The injuries from the fall
she took this past September wore her body down to its breaking point, and
she left it behind to join her God, in whom she never lost faith.
Surviving Raven are: her parents, Kenda Collins and Mike Tripp, of
Circleville, and Thom Price, of Canal Winchester; brother Rhys Price and
sister Julia Tripp, both at home; uncle Brian (Laura) Jackson of Michigan;
aunt Julie Collins Felder and sibling-like cousins, Stephanie Temple and
Kenneth (Edward) Kotarski-Collins, all of Michigan; aunt Nancy Kimmel Porter
of Michigan; grandma Betty Tripp and aunt Judy Tripp of Brunswick; uncle Pete
(Delana) Schmitt of Medina; uncle Steve(Marva) Tripp of Texas; uncle Dan
Tripp of Strongsville; a slew of cousins; and many school friends who kept in
touch.
Raven’s family would like to thank the many, many people who prayed for her
over the long course of her health issues.
A memorial service will be held April 10 th from 4 – 7 p.m. at Wellman Funeral
Home in Circleville.
