Residents of the Wyngate Senior Living Community joined forces with the Circleville Community Mission to lend a helping hand in preparation for the Mission’s 10th Easter Celebration. The heartwarming collaboration took place on March 5, 2024, at the Mission’s location on 144 Lowery Lane, ahead of the event held on March 23.

The Easter Celebration, tailored for children aged 2 years old through high school, promised a delightful lineup of activities including storytelling, singing, snacks, and a visit from a special guest, affectionately known as Quacker. With Easter arriving earlier than usual this year, Pastor Cathy Haddox found herself in need of assistance and reached out for support.

Responding to the call for help, many volunteers stepped forward, with one individual suggesting reaching out to the residents of Wyngate Senior Living Community. In a heartwarming display of community spirit, the residents eagerly pitched in, dedicating just one hour to the task and managing to fill an impressive 500 eggs.

In a photograph capturing the essence of the collaborative effort, residents of Wyngate Senior Living Community are seen alongside the activity director, Nikki Dillon, and her assistant, Heather Anderson, as they join hands with children participating in the Easter celebration. The event culminated in a joyous egg hunt, boasting over 4500 eggs scattered for the children to discover and enjoy.

The heartwarming partnership between the residents of Wyngate Senior Living Community and the Circleville Community Mission exemplifies the spirit of unity and generosity within the local community. Their collective efforts ensured that the Easter celebration was a resounding success, spreading joy and happiness to all who attended.
