Ross County, OH – March 15, 2025 – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has announced upcoming and ongoing construction projects affecting highways in Ross County. Motorists are advised to plan for delays and detours, as all work is weather-dependent.

State Route 207 Bridge Replacement

Beginning April 1, crews will start work on a bridge replacement project on State Route 207 between Rinkliff Lane and Stone Road. The roadway will be closed for the duration of construction, with a detour in place via S.R. 138 to U.S. 35 to S.R. 104. The project is expected to be completed by spring 2025.

U.S. 23 Resurfacing

As of March 1, resurfacing work is underway on U.S. 23 between S.R. 207 and U.S. 35. One lane will remain open between S.R. 207 and the Chillicothe Bypass, while the bypass itself will experience left lane closures and the implementation of cross-over lanes. This project is set for completion in fall 2025.

Motorists are encouraged to check OHGO.com or follow ODOT District 9 on Facebook and Twitter for real-time updates on construction progress and traffic impacts.
