Pickaway County, OH – A rollover crash that occurred around noon on Saturday, July 20, 2024, had resulted in the closure of a section of Mattville Road near Kepler Ford Road. Miraculously, the driver emerged from the incident uninjured despite the dramatic sequence of events.
According to reports, the vehicle was traveling north at a high rate of speed when it veered excessively into the southbound lane. In an attempt to correct its course, the vehicle then careened across both northbound and southbound lanes before ultimately leaving the roadway. The vehicle crossed into the grass on the east side, clearing a driveway, overturned, and then crossed both lanes once more before coming to a rest on the west side of the road, facing south.
Emergency responders arrived swiftly at the scene and promptly shut down the affected roadway for approximately one hour to manage the aftermath of the crash and clear debris.
Fortunately, despite the vehicle’s extensive movements and the severity of the crash, the driver emerged from the incident unscathed. The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities.
