Ross County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warning to residents following a report of an attempted child abduction in the vicinity of St Rt 28 and Wright Lane on May 7, 2024, at approximately 7:20 AM. The incident has prompted law enforcement to urge vigilance and cooperation from the community.
According to the report, the suspect vehicle involved is described as a white Toyota 4-door with heavily tinted windows, a loud exhaust, and noticeable signs of wear such as rust and chipped paint. Witnesses noted that the vehicle appeared to be in a somewhat dilapidated condition.
