Ross County – Chillicothe police department has released a statement on a body that was found at the park earlier today
At approximately 11:53am, the Chillicothe Police Patrol Division was dispatched to the City Annex following a report of an unresponsive individual. Upon arrival, Officers discovered a deceased male, said the police department.
Shortly afterward the local coroner’s office was called in, and police investigated.
Police reported that false media reports of homicide were untrue and that, “while an investigation is ongoing, preliminary assessments suggest no foul play, with
indications pointing towards a possible overdose.
Identification of the deceased will be held until family has been notified.
