Ross County Grand Jury: Menacing by Stalking at Former Address

Ross County — The Grand Jury returned all 15 of their cases on Friday, June 28th, 2024, with two open for release to the public. From testimony in the the grand jury in one of the cases, according to the Ross County Prosecutor’s Office:

On May 25th, a Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to an apartment in the 2100 block of Anderson Station Road in regards to a trespass.

The deputy found 31-year-old John P. Antenor of Logan there, and arrested him.

Antenor had moved out of the apartment at the end of 2023. He had sent the resident there text messages that he would shoot her if she had sex with another man, and that he was coming to the residence.

She told him not to, but he arrived, knocked on the front and back doors, and tried to open them though they were locked.

For indictments on two counts of fourth-degree felony menacing by stalking, Antenor could get up to18 months and $5,000 in fines for each.
