Chillicothe, OH – The Ross County Health District (RCHD) invites the community to its Homebase Health Fair on Thursday, May 30th, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at its home office front parking lot located at 150 E. Second St. The event promises a range of activities from each of RCHD’s six divisions, offering valuable resources and engaging experiences for attendees.
Among the highlights are offerings from the Administration division, featuring RCHD resources and branded chip clips for visitors. The Environmental Health division will provide larvicide blister packs and resources on mosquito, rabies, and tick prevention.
Health Promotion & Quality Improvement will promote a downtown Chillicothe fun walk and offer free naloxone, while Help Me Grow Home Visiting will distribute program resources, erasers, ink pens, temporary tattoos, and Ohio Buckles Buckeyes tape measure keychains.
The Public Health Nursing division will showcase its NEW mobile medical unit with an open house, offer free at-home COVID-19 test kits, program resources, swag bags, and host a vaccine clinic.
WIC will distribute brochures, coloring pages for kids, infant toothbrushes, and program resources, among other offerings.
Attendees can expect even more surprises and resources, making it an enriching experience for all.
Please note that the office doors will close at 3:30 PM for the outdoor health fair, while phone lines will remain open until 4:30 PM.
