Chillicothe, Ohio – Law enforcement officers were dispatched to Crystal Klean Car Wash located at 1475 N Bridge St on April 8, 2024, following reports of a suspicious person on the premises.
Upon arrival, Officer Joshua Wright made contact with business owner, who reported observing a male subject on security cameras tampering with doors and coin machines. Owner requested that the individual be barred from the establishment.
Officer Wright then encountered a white male subject exiting a silver Pontiac. The subject claimed to have no form of identification and provided a social security number belonging to a “Clarence Tabor.” However, further investigation revealed discrepancies, as the subject’s tattoos did not match the description of “Clarence.”
The subject was informed of his rights and detained for obstructing justice after failing to provide accurate identification. Subsequent investigation revealed that the subject’s true identity was Dwayne Tabor, who had an active felony warrant through the Adult Parole Authority (APA).
Tabor was transported to Ross County Jail for his outstanding warrant and booked on charges of obstructing justice. Additionally, he was informed that he was barred from Crystal Klean Car Wash premises and could face criminal trespass charges if found on the property again.
The vehicle associated with Tabor was towed by Hills Towing, and Tabor remains in custody pending his court appearance scheduled for April 10, 2024.
