Ross – A 36-year-old man was arrested after abusing the 911 system and acting disorderly in front of a home on Thursday
According to the Chillicothe police department, they were dispatched to North Hickory Street after a man called 911 three times after being advised to stop calling and wait for an officer to show up. When they arrived he told police that he was at the home of his children and his ex and was there because he was worried about his children and, “the rumors that he had heard on the street.” During the interview, he told police that earlier that day he had smoked Methamphetamine.
The mother of the children told Police that Thomas Robbins had come to the home and began screaming and hitting the door wanting to know if the kids were ok, but she did not open the door nor did she know how he found where she lived. Police reported that the kids checked ok.
Robbins was arrested for Misuse of 9-1-1, and probation violation he was transported to the Ross County Jail
