CHILLICOTHE, OH – The Chillicothe Kiwanis Club and the Ross County Ministerial Association will celebrate Ohio’s Statehood Day with their annual Statehood Day Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. The event will take place at First Presbyterian Church of Chillicothe, located at 13 Mead Drive.
A highlight of the morning will be the presentation of the Statehood Day Achievement Award to Robert “Bob” Leach, honoring his lifelong dedication to service. A retired Lt. Colonel, Leach has made a significant impact in education and veteran support, leading numerous military-related community projects. His unwavering commitment to service continues to inspire and uplift the community, making him a fitting recipient of this prestigious award.
The Ohio Statehood Day Prayer Breakfast will feature a catered meal by The Pour House at Machinery Hall. Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased at the Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau (230 N. Plaza Blvd.) during business hours, Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (closed from 12 – 1 p.m. for lunch). Attendance is limited to 120 guests.
