Ross County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Mother and Boyfriend after Zip Tying Child to Bed

ROSS COUNTY – On August 8th, 2024, at approximately 7:51 am, Ross County Sheriff’s Deputy Sol. Champion responded to a call at 270 Water St. in Richmond Dale, Ohio. Upon arrival, an investigation was initiated, leading to the arrest of a mother and her boyfriend on charges of kidnapping, complicity to aid/abet another, and endangering children through torture or cruel abuse.

Children were removed from the residence and taken into custody by Ross County Children Services.

The mother and her boyfriend were taken into custody and are facing serious charges related to the welfare and safety of the children. After one girl was found zip tied to a bed.
