Ryan Alexander Mundy, 30, of Lancaster, passed away on February 27, 2023. Ryan was born June 26, 1992. He was a 2011 graduate from Amanda Clearcreek High School. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Harold and Betty Mundy. Ryan is survived by his loving mother Melissa Mundy, brother Hunter (Maggie) Ricketts, step father Doug Ricketts, father Mitch Gaar, grandmother Zelpha Barnhart, uncles and aunts Bill (Lynne) Mundy, Lynette (Larry) McFarland, Becky (Scott) Hammond, Richard (Kevin Long) Mundy, Brenda (George) Shoemaker, Dale Weaver and by many cousins and close friends. Ryan enjoyed the outdoors hiking, fishing, and canoeing with friends. He loved to travel and his adventurous spirit, smile and laugh were infectious. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State fan so feel free to wear your fan gear if you plan on attending services. Ryan was the life of the party and he never knew a stranger. We are struggling to understand his sudden departure from this life and we will miss him every day.
