Silas Lemon, 77, of Laurelville passed away on April 23, 2018. He was born on November 27, 1940 in McFarland, WV to Silas and Mary (Deem) Lemon. He was a graduate of Norton High School in 1958, was in the USN from 1960-1964 where he was a hospital man 2 (E-5), sailor of the quarter in 1963, attended OSU from 1966-1971 where he received his BS Pharmacy, Reagent Kappa Psi, Pharmacy Council, Co-Chaired Drug Abuse Comm., implemented contemporary services in many hospitals and Pharmacy Forces, Inc. from 1988-2013 President/CEO Hospital , retail, prison, mental pharmacy, DME, home iv’, mail order, management and added two corporations (computer and nursing). Silas was preceded in death by his father Silas, mother Mary Belle Deem, sister Shirley J., brothers Roscoe E., Dale F., Robert L. and Charles C. Lemon. Silas is survived by sons Franklin S., Donald B., Jonathan T., sisters Ruth A. Jackson, Sharon K. Devenport and by brothers Gardner S. and Gary W. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 28, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with burial to follow in Green Summit Cemetery.
