
SOUTH WEBSTER, Ohio — A South Webster couple faces multiple charges following an altercation that left four individuals injured on Sunday, March 16, 2025.
Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman reported that the incident began with a 911 call from a female making threats toward a neighbor at approximately 12:56 p.m. from 68 South Bennett St., South Webster. As deputies were en route, dispatchers were informed that a violent confrontation had occurred, resulting in two individuals being cut with a knife and two others assaulted.
Upon arrival, deputies requested four ambulances, and the injured were transported to Southern Ohio Medical Center (SOMC). All four victims were treated and released. Detectives launched an investigation, which led to the arrest of two individuals.
Russell D. Slone Jr., 45, and Tiffany Slone, 36, both of 68A South Bennett St., South Webster, were taken into custody and charged with:
- Felonious Assault (Second-degree felony)
- Strangulation (Third-degree felony)
- Strangulation (Fourth-degree felony)
- Two counts of Domestic Violence (First-degree misdemeanor)
The pair appeared in Portsmouth Municipal Court on Monday, March 17, 2025, and are currently being held in the Scioto County Jail on a $75,000 bond each.
