Kettering, Ohio – January 15, 2025 – NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio, has been selected to host the prestigious Junior PGA Championships in July 2027. The 51st edition of the event will bring together 312 junior golfers—156 boys and 156 girls—competing in a four-day, 72-hole stroke play format at one of Ohio’s most iconic golf venues.

The Junior PGA Championships are one of the sport’s premier events for players aged 18 and under, showcasing some of golf’s rising stars. The competition will see the country’s best junior golfers battle it out for the championship titles, and many former competitors have gone on to achieve great success on the PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour. Notable past participants include Tiger Woods, Scottie Scheffler, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Inbee Park, Lexi Thompson, and Rose Zhang.

“We are incredibly proud to bring the 2027 Junior PGA Championships to NCR Country Club, a renowned venue with a rich history,” said Don Rea Jr., PGA of America President. “NCR’s South Course, having hosted the PGA Championship in 1969, will offer a compelling challenge for these talented young golfers. We’re grateful to NCR Country Club and Destination Dayton for their support in making this event possible.”

The tournament will be held across NCR Country Club’s two championship courses—the North and South courses. The South Course, a challenging 7,055-yard par-71 layout, has a storied history, including hosting the 1969 PGA Championship, where Raymond Floyd claimed his first major victory. Recently, the course underwent a redesign by Jim Nagle of Forse Design, enhancing its playability while preserving its original character.

Meanwhile, the North Course, a prairie-style links course, is also undergoing a redesign, with Nagle focusing on restoring its classic design and improving its environmental sustainability. These updates will ensure that both courses offer a world-class experience for both players and spectators at the 2027 Junior PGA Championships.

“As the PGA Chief Operating Officer of NCR Country Club, I am honored to host this incredible event,” said Jeffrey Grant, PGA. “We’re excited to welcome the next generation of golf talent to our facility and create a memorable experience for players, their families, and golf fans alike.”

The 2025 Junior PGA Championships will take place at Purdue University’s Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Indiana, from July 29 to August 1.
