Pickaway County –  Get ready for a burst of sweetness as Strawser’s Ice Cream, Pop & Candy shop prepares to offering another location, offering a tantalizing array of treats to delight locals and visitors alike.

Set to open its second location on August 9, 2024, Strawser’s promises an unforgettable experience with its mouthwatering offerings, including hand-dipped Perry’s ice cream, ice cream floats, tacos, nachos, cotton candy burritos, ice cream pizzas, sandwiches with homemade cookies, shakes, banana splits, and much more. Owner, Mike Strawser, shares the excitement, expressing, “We’re bringing the same kind of shop we have in Grove City down to Pickaway County. It’s a place for families and friends to come together, indulge in sweet treats, and create lasting memories.”

The decision to open in Circleville was a natural one for Strawser, who has a personal connection to the area, the second one came as a fluke when he found the place was up for lease and it just happened, “The location just makes sense with the Grove City store and the Circleville store this one is in between makes great business sense plus it offers more to Pickaway County it’s a win-win.”

You may have seen some of Strawsers work, being a longtime employee of Chase bank, Strawser was the artist that painted murals on the bank during Pumpkin Show year after year winning several times. Strawser told Sciotopost that he moved into the business in 2022 with the WTF (What the Float) ice cream truck and the Grove City location in 2021-2022 and quit his day job to pursue his dreams.
