Jacksontown, Ohio (March 10, 2024) – Motorists in Fairfield and Licking Counties should be aware of potential delays on Monday, March 11th, due to the transportation of a super load through the area.

The slow-moving behemoth is scheduled to depart at 9:00 am from Freedom Way and travel east on Tussing Road, also known as State Route 204. From there, it will continue north on State Route 310 until it reaches US Route 40 in Etna.

The route then takes the oversized load east on US Route 40 until it reaches State Route 79 in Hebron. Attention drivers: At the State Route 79 southbound exit to US Route 40, the load will be traveling the wrong way on the ramp to access the highway.

Once on US Route 40, the oversized vehicle will proceed north, but in the southbound lanes of State Route 79. It will then utilize local roads to reach its final destination within Hebron.

Local authorities urge drivers to plan alternate routes or expect delays during the transport of this oversized load. The exact timeframe for potential delays is unknown, but it is recommended to exercise caution and allow extra travel time if your route intersects with the designated path.
