ASHVILLE, OH — Authorities have charged a 42-year-old man in connection with a vehicle break-in reported at the soccer fields in Ashville in April. The suspect, currently incarcerated at the Franklin County Correction Center, faces charges of receiving stolen property and misuse of a credit card.
The incident occurred on April 21, 2024, when a vehicle owner discovered her purse missing from her vehicle after returning from a game. Following the report, it was revealed that unauthorized transactions were made using the victim’s debit and credit cards at a local beverage center.
Using video evidence from the stores they were able to identify Jesse Tackett, 42, and a warrant was issued for his arrest and he appeared this week in Court.
