ASHVILLE – Ashville Elementary School fourth grade teachers recently received a grant for $1,299.25 to purchase flexible seating options and small group whiteboard tables for their classrooms.
“We are so thankful to the Teays Valley Educational Foundation for the opportunity to purchase whiteboard tables and flexible seating. The whiteboards will help students to show their work and learn better in small group collaborations,” fourth grad teacher Kelly Trickel said. “We are also excited to have the opportunity to implement flexible seating within all three of our classrooms because of this grant. Students will have the choice to use these so that they are better able to attend to tasks and work within our classrooms. We could not be more grateful for the opportunity to use these tools to better our students’ educations.”
